Your travel map, made of your photos
Your world, in your own photos.
Wandingo finds every country you've been to from where your photos were taken, then rebuilds each one as a photomosaic of your trip.
🔒 Free on the web · no account needed · your photos stay on your device · iPhone & Android apps coming soon
Other apps read your photos' GPS and throw the pictures away. Wandingo makes the photos the map.
How it works
From camera roll to world map in a minute
-
Scan your library
Point Wandingo at your phone's gallery, a folder, or an export from Google Photos, iCloud or Amazon Photos. Only where and when each photo was taken is read.
-
Watch your map fill in
Every country you've been to lights up, filled with a photomosaic of your own trip. Trips, routes and records appear on their own.
-
Share the story
Your own page at wandingo.com/@you, posters in every social format, a Travel Replay video of your journeys, and mosaics you build with the people you travelled with.
Photomosaics
Zoom in. Every tile is one of your photos.
Each country recreates your favourite shot from it, built out of every other photo you took there. Print it at 8K, tap any tile to open that memory, or let Wandingo pick the photo that suits the country's shape best.
- Uses every photo you took in that country
- Drag and zoom the photo inside the outline
- Print-ready files at 300 dpi
Move over the mosaic to look closer

Travel Replay
Your trips, replayed as a video.
Wandingo groups your photos into trips by themselves. Tap a trip and the route draws itself, stop by stop, with a photo from each place. Made on your device, ready for Reels, TikTok and Stories.
- Trips, days and kilometres found from your photos
- Your whole world, country by country, in order
- 9:16 or square, as an MP4
Records only your photos can prove
Your northernmost. Your highest. Your farthest.

Examples. Yours come from the GPS in your photos.
What's next
A nudge towards your next stamp.
Wandingo notices when you're close to something: finishing a region, reaching a round number, or opening a new continent. It tells you which countries would get you there.
Luxembourg & Monaco would complete Western Europe
2 more countries and you're at 30
Morocco would add a new continent: Africa
Circle
One map for the two of you.
Share a link or a QR code and see where you've both been, where only one of you has, and which trips you took together. Your two maps can also be shown as one, each country split between your photos.
Shared mosaics
One trip. Everyone's photos. One picture.
After a trip together, invite the others with a link. Everyone adds their photos of it, you pick the shot, and it is rebuilt as a single mosaic made of all of them. It updates as photos arrive.
- Only the people you invite can see it
- Small copies only, with no location
- Save it at print size
Everyone's own photos of the same trip, some of the same place from another angle

Your page
A page for your travels, proven by your photos.
Publish your map at wandingo.com/@you. Visitors see your countries filled with their mosaics, can open one and zoom in until they make out each photo, and see the records you choose to show.
- "Verified by photos": countries your own photos prove
- Public or private, and yours to take down
- Never your photo list or exact locations
Every device
Sign in, and your map is the same everywhere.
Photos on your phone, more on your laptop, the old ones on the family computer? Sign in on each, and every device shows all your countries, their mosaics, your trips and your records.
- Each device adds what it has
- Sign in with a code sent by email, no password
- Trips replay anywhere, from a few small copies; originals stay where they are
Your photos stay on your device.
No account needed
Scanning, mosaics, posters and videos all happen on your phone or in your browser. Without an account, nothing is sent anywhere.
Only where and when
A scan reads each photo's location and date, not its pixels, and keeps your originals where they are.
You choose what's shared
An account saves your countries, your finished mosaics, where and when your photos were taken, and a small copy of a few photos from each trip, so your devices match and a trip replays on any of them. Your page and shared mosaics show only what you put there. Your original photos are never uploaded.
Questions
Which photos can it read?
On iPhone and Android, your whole gallery, including iCloud photos. On the web, any folder or camera card, plus exports from Google Photos (Takeout), iCloud Photos and Amazon Photos. Photos and videos with a location both count.
Do I need an account?
No. Everything works without one, and your map lives on your device. A free account (you sign in with a code sent by email) adds three things: your public page, the same map on all your devices, and mosaics shared with friends.
What is saved if I sign in?
Which countries you ticked, a few settings, each country's finished mosaic as one picture, where and when your photos were taken, and a small copy (640 px) of a few photos from each trip, so a trip can be replayed on any of your devices. Only you can read it. A shared mosaic also holds the small copies (320 px, no location) you add to it, visible to the people you invited. Your original photos stay on your device.
Can I take a photo or a country out?
Yes. Untick a country and it leaves your trips and records. Remove a photo from Wandingo and it stops counting; the photo itself stays in your gallery.
What if a photo has no location?
You can place it on a country yourself. You can also tick countries on the map by hand.
How are countries counted?
You choose: the 193 UN members, 195 with the observer states, or 197 with Kosovo and Taiwan. There are 250 countries and territories on the map, and percentages by count or by land area.
